While travelers and last-minute shoppers will have plenty of shopping and restaurant options on Christmas Eve, that will not be the case on Christmas Day.
Those looking to visit the bank or post office will also be out of luck on Monday, as most major banks, post offices and shipping services will be closed.
Most national retailers, grocery stores and fast food chains will be open on Christmas Eve, albeit some with reduced hours. However, companies such as Walmart, Costco, Target and Chick-fil-A have all announced they will be closed on Christmas Day in 2023.
Here's everything you need to know about what's open and closed on Monday, Dec. 25. It's best to check with your local store or restaurant online before leaving home, as hours and closures can vary by location.

Many CVS stores will be open regular hours over the holidays, however some stores may be closed or have reduced hours. Check with your local pharmacy for their specific holiday hours. You can find your local CVS pharmacy using the company's store locator.
Walgreens pharmacies will also be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Day, the company told USA TODAY. The company is also offering free 1-hour delivery when you spend $20 or more on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
All Rite Aid locations will be closed on Christmas Day.
Is the post office open on Christmas? Will mail be delivered?
Local post office locations will be closed on Monday, Dec. 25 and regular mail will not be delivered, according to the U.S. Postal Service. Mail will also not be collected from blue USPS collection boxes. Priority Mail Express mail will be delivered only in limited locations and an extra fee for those deliveries will be assessed, according to the USPS.
Are UPS and FedEx open on Christmas? Will packages be delivered?
UPS will not offer pickup or delivery services on Dec. 25 and all UPS Store locations will be closed. According to the company, UPS Express Critical is available 365 days a year. For more information, visit upsexpresscritical.com.
All FedEx delivery services will be unavailable and FedEx Office locations will be closed on Christmas Day. FedEx Custom Critical, however, is available on Christmas Day.
